Students from Near East Preschool and Near East Primary School showcased their year-long projects and stage performances at the “Children and Environment Festival”, receiving great appreciation from the audience.
As report card time approaches and students prepare to leave the 2025-2026 academic year behind, they continue to showcase the talents they have developed throughout the year through various events. The “Children and Environment Festival”, which combines art, environmental awareness, and stage performances, was participated by Near East Preschool and Near East Primary School students with colorful shows. During the festival, students had the opportunity to showcase their artistic works and demonstrate their talents through stage performances.
The festival program, which saw a large turnout of families, was filled with vibrant scenes. The exhibition area featuring the work prepared by Near East Preschool and Near East Primary School students throughout the year attracted great interest from visitors, while the students’ stage performances, aimed at instilling environmental awareness and love of nature at a young age, were also well-received by the audience. The students’ happiness and energy on stage left a lasting impression on the festival, making it a memorable end-of-year gathering that was both educational and unforgettable.
Handmade Projects and Colorful Stage Performances Receive High Marks!
Throughout the festival, students’ projects highlighting themes of recycling, love of nature, and environmental awareness garnered significant attention from visitors. The student performances, featuring theater, dance, rhythm, and music, were highly appreciated. Following the opening dance and music event, the Mozart, Vivaldi, Chopin, Frida Kahlo, and Monet classes from Near East Preschool presented drama, rhythm, and fashion shows. Students from Near East Primary School participated with class-based dance performances as well as presentations containing messages in English, French, and Turkish.

Near East Primary School Principal Fatma Coşar stated that children should not only achieve academic success. Çoşar, stating that they attach great importance to raising individuals who think, feel, and create through art, said, “Every work exhibited here is the most beautiful reflection of labor, creativity, and the light in the inner world of our children.” Emphasizing the importance of instilling a love of nature and environmental awareness at a young age, Coşar said, “We believe that children who love nature and grow up with art will beautify the future. As Near East Primary School, we attach great importance to our students not only achieving academic success but also growing up as individuals who think, feel, and create through art. Because we believe that children who grow up with art will be a source of hope and light for the future.”
