At Near East Primary School, the aim of academic practices is to equip students with knowledge that will guide them not only in their early educational years but throughout their entire learning journey. Ensuring the continuity of students' language education and study habits is possible because students who choose Near East Primary School can continue their education at the same institution through primary school, middle school, high school, and university.
The activities planned throughout the year in line with the theme's objectives are conducted simultaneously in Turkish and English. In addition to our program, which is in accordance with the Ministry of National Education's curricula, we provide education in English and French. In addition to English lessons, we also offer English Mathematics and English Science classes. Our students participate in Cambridge and DELF exams for measuring their foreign language proficiency and obtaining international certification.
The purpose of assigning homework is to help our students:
- Improve their performance,
- Facilitate question-solving and subject revision,
- Support the reinforcement of what they have learned, and
- Develop a habit of organized studying.
GUIDANCE PRACTICES
The psychological counseling and guidance unit, with its expert staff, works in collaboration with families to provide preventive and supportive solutions to the challenges students face throughout their academic journey. The aim is to monitor students' social and emotional development within the learning environment, contribute to their growth as sensitive and creative individuals, and help them reach their full potential.
EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES
Near East Junior College values the development of students as whole individuals. In addition to academic success, students are offered a wide range of educational activities during school hours to help them discover their abilities. Various activities that students can choose according to their interests and talents are conducted on designated days and times. Information about these activities is shared with students and parents following the school’s opening.
