The Republic Road Race between schools, which is held every year within the framework of the 38th-anniversary celebrations of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, was held with great enthusiasm this year as well. The little ones competing in the race organized by the TRNC Athletics Federation on November 11 also experienced the enthusiasm of the Republic. In the race, Near East Primary School won the double championship in the girls and boys categories.
In the individual general ranking, the students of the Near East Primary School shared the first three places in the 1000 meters category, while the students of the Near East Primary School shared the first two places in the 800 meters girls category. While Uraz Çeribaşı came first in the boys 1000 meters category, Zarif Dayı took the first place in the girls' 800 meters race.

Meeting with the champion athletes after the competition, Near East Schools Primary Education Head Ertan Aligüllü expressed his satisfaction with this success. Aligüllü congratulated his students, who enjoyed the championship in this meaningful competition held in honor of the 38th anniversary of our Republic, and said, “It is very meaningful for the young generations who will carry our Republic forward to come together and gain motivation in such organizations. I congratulate the children of the Republic we have raised for their success in the Republic Race.”
