Near East Primary School students shared their studies in the “Science Laboratory” with their peers at the “Experiment and Project Exhibition” event. In the event held at the Near East Primary School Indoor Sports Hall, students also improved their presentation skills and had a fun time.

In the laboratory studies carried out with the slogan “I forget if I hear, I remember if I see, I learn if I do”, they presented many projects such as volcano formation, the conditions needed for the fire to burn, observing the refraction of light and color changes, and the carbohydrate experiment.

The studies prepared by the students by combining the information they learned in the classroom with the topics they are curious about in daily life, attracted great attention of the families who visited the exhibition and other students of the school. While the school students, who visited the experiments of their friends, examined the studies with full of curiosity, the parents followed the presentations made by the children with admiration.

Ertan Aligüllü: “With the Experiment and Project Exhibition, our students improved their presentation skills and self-confidence by presenting their works while making their knowledge permanent.”
Emphasizing the importance of applied education, Near East Colleges Primary Education Head Ertan Aligüllü said, “We aim to help our students reinforce the theoretical knowledge they have learned by practicing in the laboratory environment and make their knowledge permanent by experiencing them through the experiments they have made.”

Reminding that Near East Colleges have laboratory facilities like a university, Aligüllü said, “As every year, our students exhibited their experiments and projects they prepared by presenting them to their fellow students, teachers and families. With the Experiment and Project Exhibition, our students improved their presentation skills and self-confidence by presenting the studies they carried out while making their knowledge permanent.”
